  15.      Without an argument, _d_o_m_a_i_n_n_a_m_e displays the name of the current network
  16.      information service (NIS) domain, which typically encompasses a group of
  17.      hosts under the same administration.  As such, the name of an NIS domain
  18.      is typically a valid Internet domain name in order to be consistent with
  19.      the domain name used by the BIND name server, _n_a_m_e_d(1M).

  21.      Only the super-user can set the domain name by giving an argument; this
  22.      is performed by the system startup procedure using the contents of
  23.      /_v_a_r/_y_p/_y_p_d_o_m_a_i_n.  This setting is persists only until the machine is
  24.      rebooted, when it will once again be set using the contents of the above
  25.      file.  To permanently change the value change this file, then run the
  26.      domainname command as a privileged user or run the command:
  27.      /_v_a_r/_y_p/_y_p_i_n_i_t -_c.

  30.      collectively to a group of hosts.
